Painted in 2017, this was a fun commission! The owner was a Steelers fan and the addition of the dog tag seemed appropriate. My thought was that he would know for sure it was his dog upon receiving the portrait as a gift. The expression on the dog contrives all kinds of captions. What do you think it says?

Vicki B Littell is an Australian watercolor artist living in Florida. She has been professionally creating art since 2016. Her work is influenced by her love of the "sunburnt country" and people's life stories. Her unique style is easily recognized by the brilliant translucency of primary watercolors.
